In August 2009 I had the pleasure to travel through parts of Peru and these photos are a result of that trip. They shows the outstanding physical remains of three cultures that have influenced central and southern Peru’s history:  the Nazca, the Incas and the Spanish.  Each has left an indelible footprint on the land, despite the efforts of one, the Spanish, to obliterate the others. In addition, I looked at the Uros, the present day “reed people” of Lake Titicaca.
