   We went to Tanzania to experience a safari and to see wildlife in its natural habitat. It was a once in a lifetime trip. In addition to the wildlife we saw the incredible landscape of Tanzania and were introduced to the culture of the native peoples, most notably the Maasai. Vegetation ranged from semi desert, through grasslands (savanna) to thick forest, depending on rainfall and the presence of springs.

   With very few exceptions, the animals were either predators or prey. As the animals are well known, I have not captioned my images.
