Tinglewood

Tinglewood is part of Orr Park, Montevallo.  Since 1993, Tim Tingle has decorated  several dead cedar trees with over 40 carvings. Some of the intricate carvings are over ten feet tall, whereas others are less than one foot in diameter. Most are easily seen, but quite a number are close to the ground or in high branches. In 1977 the city of Montevallo named that part of the park "Tinglewood," in recognition of Tim's work.
